growing up too fast

i seriously feel so old. i'm 22, i have probably already lived a third of my life, and i still don't even know what i want from life. i have a decent paying job, but it's not what i want to do for ever. just thinking that in 8 more years i'll be 30 makes me really depressed. i still want to travel and see the world, but that requires so much money. life just seems so bleh lately, all i do is work, and pay bills, work, and pay bills, there is never a getting ahead, unless i want to be a hermit and not spend any money having fun.

don't mind me, i'm working graveyards, my sleep is all messed up, and i'm in a weird mood OK.

Yeah time seems like its flyin faster and faster but then most of my friends are turnin 19 (most of em are already) and I'm only gonna be 18 so it also feels like I got a lot to go, but then this years just gonna go by quicker than last.

dude i am feeling and thinking the exact same thing these days. i am on nights and it has taken over my life. i know twenty three isn't old but i am not where i wanted to be at this point in my life. i have been thinking a lot about the future lately. decided to cut my hours at work so i can give my writing a shot and get back into shape.

my biggest fear is that when i'm older, i'll regret not taking advantage of my youth...

so whatever is making you feel the way you are feeling, just do something about it! 22 is still relatively young, go out there and do what it takes to make you happy!

I totally know what u mean. All i do is work and pay bills and try and get ahead. But to get ahead u gotta do shit all(ie. not go out). But then that's wasting u're youth. but by jsut working and paying bills u're wasting u're youth too. I guess i should just pray for money to fall in my lap, lotto, inhereitance or somethign. I totally agree with you jimbo. I am feeling the same way. Ever since I got back from Penticton I have felt that way. It seemed like there was so much more to do out there, and then I get back here and its always the same shit. I feel like there is no point of me even staying in this city. I know how u guyz feel. I graduated in 2002 and, I feel like I should still be in highskool. I mean, I don't feel old enough 2 be out of skool It's a weird feeling knowing that, every1 will be going back 2 skool in September and not me. I'm soo used 2 the same old routine, now it's all gonna change.
