my friends gave me bad advice so...
last night while working the door at 23 west, i was informed that i had to ID strictly. someone showed up who i don't get along with very well and i refused him entry because he was underage. the problem is that there were other underaged people in the club, though most of them had crafty "out-of-country ids" and the others had showed up before i started work.
now people are judging me because i turned this person away. i do admit that my comfortability with him did bias my decision to consider letting him in, although if he was of age, i would not have been able to do anything. i did however get permission from one of the promoters to let him in, but when i tried to charge him cover, he got all elitist on my ass and stormed out of the building in search of a way to get guestlisted. i know that i wouldn't feel comfortable being at the club with him there. when i offered to help out at the night, i figured that there would not be a chance of running into him. how would you have reacted given this situation and all of the circumstances involved? *huggles* nathaniel kristofer Last edited by LoveKat; Sep 20, 02 at 02:26 PM. |

I would have done the same.. I asked everyone for id.. if they didnt have it.. I talked to one of the promoters about it.. incase they knew them and all that stuff.
But if they didnt pay.. I wasnt gonna let them in unless they had a free pass or on gueslist. I'm sorry but rules are rules and if you dont follow them.. some one could get in shit. tough. But I dunno if it was krista or I givin you the bad advice.. sorry if we did.. but I thought I told you everything there was to know.. fawk... grrr.. mer.. just.. @%$* Last edited by Bitchin; Sep 20, 02 at 02:39 PM. |
