Living together and working together....

What are your opions on living with your significant other and also working with them?
I am in that situation right now, altho we havnt started work yet, but i duno how it is gona work, i think we will get sick of each other, and i dont want that to happen

they lived together fer nine years...then opened up a business together...it was too much, they're now seperated.

Time apart from your significant other is extremely important. I'm sure the case might be different with every situation however. Who really knows what might happen.

I think working at a job with your significant other is a good thing. That way you can go out with them at lunch instead of them running off at lunch with some worthless crybaby.

we dont have seperate rms, but once i start getting money l will be able to go out more and not sit at home all day with him, so that might work.

My sister did that. It ruined her relationship with him by living together but they still have to put up with each other at the same job.

Granted, this is just one out of millions of scenarios. Maybe you'll have better luck.:smoke1:

me too. i had a roomate who was going to the same school as me, and taking the same course....so she would want to walk to school together and walk home together, cause she didnt have any friends. i would want my own time, so id walk in the other direction ......i ended up hating her and moving out.

hmm, that doesnt sound too good linds, we are gonna try and get different shifts and possibly work in different rms too, and take lunch breaks seperate. I hope it doesnt push us apart, and yea if we broke up and were still working together that would def suck a fat one

but keep in mind, my situation was diff, cause well she was just a friend, it might have been diff if she was my bf. (well you know what i mean) cause i tend to not date losers (well, sometimes, but you know) and yeah, if you love someone, you give them more leeway. hopefully it all works for you

haha, some hurtin place called Total Impact Communications, basically calling people and surveying them. I am sure like half the people on this board have heard of it or have already worked there. Its onlyfor now until jan, cus then I plan on going back to school

if i was to date someone from my work, it wouldnt be a big deal either....
