there is everything wonderful about having your emotions shattered....
having your emotions shattered is like laying out a bunch of puzzle pieces infront of you. it gives you a chance to look at each one and evaluate its significance to you.
from an artists perspective (not that i'm an artist, but...) it's easier to draw/write something you see/know. with your emotions shattered and appearing before your eyes, you have something infront of you to work with. you have something write about, you have something to draw. you discover expression in yourself that can only be brought out at such a time as having your heart broken. how else could you write a love story without falling in love? and how else could you write a tragedy without suffering a tragedy?
a person's imagination is fed by life experiences. if we were fed the same thing everyday, saw the same shit everywhere we went, and lived with the same lovey-dovey feelings every day of our lives, we would all be vegetables. we are what we eat.
the beauty of art is not only in the picture. it's the expression that was put into it. otherwise it's just as shallow as the paper you create your art on.
i could probably give you a better explanation. but at the moment, i am IN LOVE.
