so i was going to post this in punching bag, then i realized that i wasn't even really mad about it.

last weekend i was taking a cab. it should have been a five dollar ride, but the driver ended up taking the weirdest detour ever. when we got to my destination, i handed him his money and pointed out that he could have driven straight down davie in half the time. i didn't say it in a bitchy manner at all.

he was like, "all you black people do is complain. every single black person i pick up complain. complain. complain. complain."

wtf.

seriously.

ugh.

i didn't lip him off, because at the end of the day, he's the one driving a cab around.

but still. i was mildly disturbed, to say the least. and he put a damper on my night for like, an hour.
