Man... I dunno about products like that.
Last week I was at a buddy's place and I took a look at one of those 'Hydroxycut'-style bulking up powders that he had - and there wasn't a single ingredient listed on the bottle. Instead, it just listed a bunch of scientific mumbo jumbo that even scientists don't know what it is, other than codenames for unknown substances used in their experiments (and even doesn't state from where these substances come from or how they are made)... I personally like to know what I eat and where my food comes from. To me that makes more sense than eating 'InsulinMAX' or 'NitriXplode' as one of the 'ingredients' in those sketchy products... And if you really want to know about Hydroxycut, then check out the shit reviews people are giving it: Hydroxycut info please - Discover Vancouver Forum Does Hydroxycut work? - Canucks Board Hydroxycut - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (controversy section) SUPPLEMENT CRITIC.COM - HYDROXYCUT REVIEWS And most importantly: hydroxycut reviews - Google Search Last edited by FireWire; Dec 01, 07 at 09:36 AM. |

If your trying to loose weight, First: stop eating candy and drinking pop. Second: eat a healthy and balanced diet. Third: exercise regularly. Also it takes time, those pills that say you loose twenty pounds in one month are bull shit. It will take time but if your really want to loose weight, that will work 100% of the time. If you just want to take pills as you eat pizza your always gonna be fat.

It is for weight loss, i do lead a healthy lifestyle, i haven't eaten a pizza in years, i was just curious because the lady at the store was stressing how good it was.
I excercize 2 hours daily and work out 1 hour a day, everyday afterschool. drink plenty o water, and eat right. i just thought it would give me a little boost on my metabolism. |

K - so you're eating healthy, exercising all the time, and now you want a boost in metabolism? Then why do you even THINK about using PURELY synthetic products? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of your already healthy lifestyle?
Whoever thinks that they can enhance their life with artificial products that are 'supposed' to improve your health is actually doing more harm to themselves than good. Bodybuilders who use synthetic crap and not any healthier than natural/vegan bodybuilders... When in doubt on whether to use a particular product or not - always look out for whether it's natural/organic or has been artificially/chemically processed. |

If you're looking for a casual way to lose weight:
Instead of breakfast, have one or two spoonfuls of plain (not low-fat) yogurt. Something in the yogurt fools the brain into thinking you have had a normal meal and thus you avoid the feast and famine cycle. |

The new Hydroxycut sucks. It does nothing. When Hydroxycut was ephedrine-based, it worked GOOD. Very good. If you're willing to take an ephedrine supplement, grab Hydrolean. It's the same formula as the American Hydroxycut (WAY stronger than the Canadian version that was available). I've used it a few times, and it works.

But if you do go for a ephedrine supplement, make sure you know what you're getting yourself into. You will build up tolerance. You will eat more for a while when you're off it. You can't have any more caffeine. It's not recommended that you take it for more than 12 weeks. You will sweat like a motherfucker.
If you do go for Hydrolean, do some research first. |

Regardless of which is true, I think it all comes to calories in vs calories out. If you want to lose weight, expend more energy than you intake. |

I've always heard that eating breakfast was important for boosting you metabolism. |

If you're looking for a boost, maybe you should look into vitamin supplements?
I don't know if this would be any better, but I'd trust it a lot more than Hydroxycut:Genuine Health - Products: lean+ |

Thats what the majority of these products are aren't they? Boat loads of caffeine with afew dashes of bullshit chemicals.
