Attention Ladies on Birth Control
Alright... so after a few months of ... well.. quite honestly, hell... I have decided to switch birth control pills.
I've been reading up on Lybrel and I am wondering if anyone takes it or has heard of it from a friend of theirs? What is LYBREL? — Lybrel.com 4 periods a year seems pretty sweet to me, the benefits are just as good, if not better than if I were to go back on the pill I was taking (Yasmin 21). I will be speaking with a doctor about this (of course), but any opinions or what not about Lybrel would be very helpful! *note* I am not looking to get the patch, an IUD, a diaphragm, or anything else, just Lybrel... Thanks! |

I take Alesse, and I take it back-to-back for three months at a time, as ordered by my doctor. Thus, taking just 4 breaks a year. Not for convenience, but for the reason that this regiment is best thing we've found for me (for personal reasons). I can't comment on the specific pill you are referencing, but when I asked my doctor about the new pills coming out that you take continuously, he said it wasn't much different than what I'm doing now. I would encourage you to talk to your doctor, as you planned.

It doesn't. but I asked my question first.
The birth control itself doesn't make you a slut, but the act of EXPRESSING yourself through birth control does... I would figure girls don't exactly go up to the highest mountain to proclaim that they're on BC unless they want someone to take advantage of that fact and let her juice him, gnome sane? This is where the strategy makes no sense to me. HOW THE HELL DO YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF THROUGH BIRTH CONTROL? Taking the pill isn't exactly an art form.... |
