oh, guess what? I was researching DMT and discovered that certain grasses contain up to 5 percent of DMT. These plants make the stuff as a form of pesticide to whack out bugs who probably meditate too long before being consumed by their predators. Rye and timothy weed probably contain some DMT but you'd need to put 100 grams in the blender to get 1 gram.
Threshold for DMT is 2-5 mg; light intoxication 10-20 mg; common 20-40 mg; and strong, 40-60 mg -- Erowid DMT Vault : Dosage If the grass was at least 1 percent DMT, to get a threshold response you'd need to put 200-500 mg in the bong - a frakken cupful or two!!! Therefore it's best to extract DMT from your wheatgrass. IMHO it'd be easier to feed DMT-rich blended organic material to psilocybe mushrooms and let nature concentrate the 4-hydroxy-5methoxy-N,N-DMT. See 4-Hydroxy-5-methoxy-N,N-dimethyltrypt... - dmt - tribe.net My spin on the lady in the OP: I envision DMT enemas at rehab centres to cure crack and meth addictions. Reasoning: one DMT trip properly moderated can scare a lot of crackheads and tweakers off drugs, as could LSD and MDMA sessions under strict rehab conditions. Sadly though, most rehab centres are of the abstainence model which has seen low rates of success ( <25 percent ). Ibogaine therapy has a higher rate, but is expensive. LSD is medically proven to show a high rate of alcohol recovery according to Hoffman, and the MDMA trials are ongoing in America. So why not DMT to get the stimulant abusers off their drugs? Probably because in order to survive DMT you need to read the Tibetan Book of the Dead and be amenable to religion. Otherwise, you're just gonna go effen looney. Roughly transalated it says "The way of life that is spoken of is not the one true way of life", but the ancient chinese words (much like ancient hebrew or latin) mean a lot more than the literal translation.
Basically means, we can talk about this until we get red in the face, we're still not going to be able to encapsulate everything that it means. Kind of an ironic first line considering that Lao Tze then goes on for 81 chapters talking about it. The Tao of Pooh is a fantastic look into taoism. It never really left my side all through my first year living away from my folks. Last edited by ebbomega; Jan 29, 08 at 07:57 PM. |
