I used to have a djx 700, it's a piece of shit

2 of the 4 channels died on me after 2 months of use, the effects are shit, there's 70 effects, but they're only sub effects from the normal, echo, filter, flanger, reverb, etc.
the cross fader goes wonky after a little while.
as an added bonus to the effects, you can only control the volume of it.

so for $120 refurb, with probably lots of problems, you're wasting your time. I bought mine NEW for $190.00

I use a djm-400 now and love it to pieces.

ps, wrong forum.

agreed, i have a couple behringer comps and other knick knacks kicking around...for the price they cant be beat..

if you can find one of the old school mackie clones they are fucking ace....so much so that mackie sued them and ever since their mixers(multitrack) are a complete waste of time...

there just so fucking noisy its not even worth it

, just to add...its only 120...might be a good option for you since you need a 4 channel and its basically a pioneer clone, BUT....factory refurbished?

if you got 120 and it dosent mean much to you if the thing fails in a couple months then obviously get it....its a good deal.

it's a pioneer clone, but it's also a piece of shit in terms of quality.
you can get a nice numark 4 channels, dude.. honestly, i'd rather use a gemini 646 than the djx700
I miss my gem, what a fantastic mixer.

^ Not really. I don't know much about mixers. I just know that it's the entry level 4 channel from Pioneer. I don't really care about fx, but I do want a mixer that has led's for each channel.

When someone says "I wish I had the money..." financing is hardly ever the solution.

there's tons of hot mixers out right, djm-800, and the new ecler flagship mixer would be my top picks.
