the race before friendships begins
so i met this boy and i think he is really sweet. sweeter than any boy i've talked with or met in the last year (no offense). we've done the whole online flirtation thing, writing cute notes about each other and our mutual attraction and giddiness.
now i want to tell him that i am starting to like him as more than a friend. we still have a lot of getting to know each other, but i want to come forward with how i feel before my window closes and he begins to respect me too much as a friend to ruin what we have :finger: :finger: :finger: so yeah, how should i go about letting him know this without seeming like a geek. i already seem like a geek writing this post, but i don't care. i just want snuggles from him. *huggles* nathaniel kristofer |

Honestly baby... just talk to him/ Let him know that you respect him as a firend but that you want to express the feelings you have for him. If he wants to just stay friends be sure to let him know that it's totally fine with you, just that you had to get this offa your chest because it was bugging you. But from what lil I know of the situation I think more likely than not he feels the same way. What's the worst that can happen tough if you talk to him? He'll say he just likes you as a friend and you'll have that relationship to build upon. |

It's always super awkward when you meet someone and you really really like them...
It reminds me of when Darian and I met, because we both really had these innocent crushes on eachother, but were so afraid to make a move for the longest time. It was just always so very cute and awkward and over time I couldn't stand it and I just made a move..however, it took me months to build up any courage to do so.. I think a lot of the time, people can really easily sense that the other person feels something more for them...you can notice the awkward silences, the blushing...everything.. I'd say maybe hang out a few more times and see how it feels and then make a move. It's totally natural to feel nervous about it!! |

i'm pretty sure that he feels the same way as i do, but i'm a pessimist and never believe that someone likes me until they tell me themselves and yeah, i have talked with him on the phone and met him in person. he gives great hugs! |
