to me a slut is someone who doesnt know the limits of their sexuall life and isnt reponsible about it. I mean if u love sex u need to get off, there are many responsible ways around it. But when u dont know ur limits and are irresponsible, u put ur health and credibility on the line along with others.

agreed. and like miss myra said- it isn't gender specific but I do think it is more common among teenage girls. It's kinda sad really. I think it is very commonly used when a teenage girl feels threatened by or jealous of another teenage girl in some way so they talk trash about the person calling them a slut and what not behind their back and/or to their face to degrade the other person and make themself feel better by making the other girl seem unattractive and disgusting by calling her a slut . I am a teenager still so I have seen the endless gossip train towards some of the girls at school many a time and still do. It is quite sad. I think the person gossiping and talking trash is so much more unattractive than the person being called a slut. :sick:
