Being pulled every which way...

I've been feeling emotionally torn all over the place lately (I don't want to get into the reasons cuz I have no desire to post my personal life on an interweb rav0r message board).

I've gone through every possibly emotion I knew existed in the past two weeks: happy, sad, upset, mad, ecstatic, irrate, confused, hurt, shocked, excited, loved, melancoly, stressed, pissed, ect.

The list goes on n on.

Now more then anything I'm just confused... the vast array of emotions in such a short amount of time have left me very discombobulated.

Anyone know what I'm talking about out there? Anyone got any ideas on how to get through it and back to the somewhat normalcy that is life (although I consider my life far from normal).

:soak:

I have gone through what you described a time or two. Everyone is different so the steps to take to settle your mind will be different than mine for sure, but there are a couple things I do. Main thing would be to try to relax, get lots of sleep and surround yourself with people who dont make the situation worse. I also write my thoughts down, go for long walks, have hot baths in order to try to figure things out in my mind. Usually it just takes time to feel semi normal again. I'm not sure if this was the type of response you were looking for, but hopefully this helps :)

i love getting all wound up like that... :284:

it really sucks at the time, but it reminds me that i have emotions and brings me back into place

2 weeks is quite some time tho...relax, cut yourself off from eveyone for a couple days. or take it out on something.

^^ Different crazy things have been happening over the span of two weeks so that's kinda why it's been so long... two weeks is abnormal though.

A coupole nights alone is probably in order... I just hate being alone. I thrive on human contact/communication.

yea but being alone for a couple of nights to kill these crazy emotions is worth it, n'es pas?

it's kinda funny when life serves you up these little episodes one after the other...you're thinking things couldn't get any wanker, but BOOM comes what's least expected and more dreaded

i also kinda like it cause when you put all these dramas together, you realize some of the shit you were sweating before really isn't worth your time compared to the other problems you got goin

I find that sitting down and writing helps me a lot. I don't think about what I am writing, I just let the words flow onto the paper. I find that when I do this, all my emotions pour out, and it really lets me sort out what I am thinking and feeling.

It also reminds me that I KNOW the answers to my problems.... writing just gets everything out and lets me figure it all out..

Typing does the same thing, kinda a self rant journal.
