This thread is strange...
Je parle francaise aussi depuis la maternelle... Je prends le program d'immersion francaise a l'ecole. what's funny is that I'm chinese... i can't speak chinese... but I speak french... people always seem to get a kick outta that:)

I'm the same way addy I was never in french immersion, but I can speak it enough to get by and can understand french if you speak slow enough.. and I can speak and understand filipino... but there isn't an ounce of filipino blood in me... I was just born and raised in the philippines.. but I can't speak chinese... my accent is HORRIBLE.. now THAT'S a way to trip people out :D --Joanne :P

It's all about bein white washed...
ha ha... I know! I can understand chinese, but I can't speak it! I can speak some stuff (mostly food dishes, or little sayings), other than that... I'm out... But I can speak french fluently?? WHAT THE?? :)

hehe.. notice how everyone got a lil side tracked with the french there? haha... I'm in french immersion, but I HATE IT!!! arg... but my favorite word~ provocateur! hehe... that's me :)
=-The more things remain the same the more they change-= it's true, the more you try for thing to stay the same, the more they end up changing... change is inevitable~ and also.. as things remain the same, we begin to look at it's different sides, and see it differently than before... so in truth, although it hasn't changed one bit, the way we percieve it has changed.... so in our mind things are constantly changing, even if we do nothing to change it. that's jus my view on the saying~ ~breezy
