Suicide
I have just found out that a co-worker of mine has killed himself. He killed himself AT WORK today. I have never actually known anyone that has comitted suicide. From what I have been told it was because of girls. He had bad luck with them. He wasnt even ugly so i didnt understand why. What is really upsetting is that when i first started to work at the airport my friend was trying to set him and I up. He has tried this before at work by jumpping infront of a car but only got mildly injuered. I only got one chance to hang out with him outside of work and that was when he met me and another co-worker at sonar to watch hatiras. He really was a great guy.

Thats really sad, my uncle commited suidide when I was like 8.

this month and a half.....8-9 deaths already
suicide cause of a girll....well lets just say first loves that end bad could do that...or constant streak of bitches playing head games and ruining they guys can be lethal... rip...

i guess when we all want out or we give up suicide comes into mind...but think about it this way if you die how many people are YOU going to hurt. dont just think about youself sometimes...what would the others do without you right? and if someone breaks up with you maybe it wasnt meant to be you CANT do anything about it but there could always be someone in the future...those are my 2 cents

there's no need to speculate on what his reasons may have been for doing this. but there must have been so much more to it than any of us will ever know.
regardless of why he may have comitted suicide the fact is, he did. and there isn't a fuckin thing any of us can do about it now. i had only met him a few times but mark really seemed to be a genuinely good guy. mark, i hope you have found your peace. tho i hardly knew you, you will never be forgotten.

im sorry to hear about this. I had a close friend who commited suicide after she was raped. It really effects alot of people. You have to realize that their are loads of people who love you and are deeply effected if they lose you. Its always hard when its someone you know, I hope you pull through sue

it's always so sad when you hear that someone else has killed themselves. i know it hurts all the people who are left behind, but what truly makes me sad is the pain that they must have been going through that pushed them to the edge. true some people do it on a spure of the moment thing, like when they get dumped or something, but you said this guy had tried it before.. so apperently it has been a constant thought for him. i just wish that when people start to feel that bad they reach out for help instead of wrapping themselves up in their depression shutting out the world of good so they can no longer see a reason to live. than it leaves those around them feeling lost and hopeless because nothing that you do can reach them. i know what its like to be there but i got help and once you get through that it makes you a stronger person and you really appriciate everything about being alive,
if you start to feel that bad get help, its out there and it does work, you just miss so much in life by ending it short, my best friend had her dad kill himself and every time something big comes up that your parents would normaly be there to see, she wishes so hard that he could have stayed alive and been a part of her life. killing yourself doesn't solve anything, its a perment solution for a temperary problem. thats my lil bit, live life to the fullest and don't let the hard times get you down... in the end they only make you stronger.

Suicide is quite honestly, IMO, the hardest thing to deal with. It's so impossible to get into their mindset and become at peace with their choice.
I lost my Dad to suicide when I was 15...it's rough, but you'll be OK. Be happy for him in the sense that he is most likely in a better place now, free of his earthly pains. If you need any advice, feel free to send me a PM. Also, your work SHOULD be supplying counsellors for you, and as well I do believe you're entitled to three days off with pay.

You have to have something far more seriously wrong with you than "girl troubles" to commit suicide. Maybe his bad luck with girls was the trigger for his sadness or depression, but that's a deeper problem than what you can see on the surface.
