I'm not trying to be anyones mom here. I'm just saying people believe in "love" at first sight without even knowing what it is. Then people get hurt.

I believe that you can feel a connection with someone instantly. I once met a boy who walked into my work, we looked at each other all strange like we knew each other in another life. We ended up being born four days apart, both fishes...and strangely..his girlfriend's name was TARA, which is also my name if some of you didnt know that. Anyhow, we finished each others sentaces and read each others mind...it was a beautiful friendship based on a first meet.
I strongly beleive in lust at fist sight...i think you can want something in an instance, but to love something that takes time. You may love the way something looks but without knowing they could be about anything. Love is something that grows...lust is the feeling of wanting something in that primary instance. Some people though, they just spire together and are drawn to one another by a force unknown. It happends. I believe in fate.

from the first time i met the guy i liked.. i was attracted to him.. and then that led to talking to him more.. and being friends to more then friends...
i believe in "love @ first sight" to a certain extent. not so much being in love... but falling in love.

u need to know a person intellectually (sp) in order to fall in love with them
you have to spend time together and get to know one another....i believe u can feel LUST at first sight....but love at first sight i dont think so you fall in love with thier looks not thier personality

Love means different things to different people. I get frustrated when I see some people drop the "I love you" when you've only been dating for a couple of weeks. Using the word love as a slang term isn't for me. I think the word love means a deep level of comitment and the possability of having a much more serious relationship. It has been of my experience that it's usually the lady that brings up the love thing and sometimes way to early in a relationship for my liking. but I do believe that you can have a connection with someone at first sight. It's a whole other story to actually act on those initial reaction for me because I'm generally a pretty shy kinda guy when it comes to women.
