No, no mess. There is no cleaning needed after (especially if you use a condom). I think this may be because after I went on the pill my period became crazy light. I guess there are one or two days I wouldn't have sex on, but the rest of the time it's barely there.

I dont think its a big deal at all. As long as your not getting it on with a squeemish little baby then who cares its natural. Put down a towel in case there are a few drips and there usually wont be and make sure you take your tampon out just before you do it so whatever is up there is like 98% absorbed
