yeah i saved the day here yesterday because my boss was 'sick' (oh isn't it cool I don't get time off to move during the deadest time of the month and she has to miss the most important site visit from government clients?)

and I don't get a thank you for that, and it doesn't matter...

what matters is she rocks up to my desk and flips out at me because I just made a noise because i lost something I was working on due to a stupid software error (like who the fuck won't grunt at their computer when they do that?) and she's telling me that reflects a horrible attitude on behalf of my whole department? I'm 100% certain the client on site doesn't care and can probably relate to that frustration.

like really, after awhile getting nothing but criticizm when you know you've really been working hard makes me feel soo sad :(

That really sucks. I would complain to someone higher up.
Im just glad we can get away with being up front about how we feel about our bosses on a regular basis. When my boss was asking one of my team mates what the problem was with her productivity being low. My team mate told her that she was being kind of a bitch, and it didn't motivate her. It worked suprisingly. I would never tell my boss she was a bitch though. But I though it was funny that it worked.

Either way, I know how it is on a smaller level. I ended up getting fired, but that doesn't matter. I would try and talk to someone higher up, like her boss. You can't motivate people that way. Appreciation can take you a long way.
