I wish there was memory erasure
I've dislocated my shoulder a few times, almost snapped my leg in half, came close to rupturing my ACL even.
I thought the pain I felt when I had my root canal done was something to gauge blinding pain by. But regardless of all that I have gone through and recovered from there is still no feeling more unpleasant than that of heartstrings pulled. |

*sigh* But then if a memory eraser was created it would be used for evil and not good. I know it. Nothing good can come from erasing a memory. Although it hurts; it's how we learn. Memories are the one of the most sacred things we have. Think about those people who get amnesia.

Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind anyone?
Yeah, the pain sucks and sucks hard. But the reason it hurts is because obviously there was something there that meant something important to you. Erasing the pain means erasing the important parts of your life - likely the parts that had a large part in forming who you are. You can cut those parts of you out about as much as you can cut out your own lungs, my man. They are you. |
