paradigm shifts

its this thing i call when you have sudden life altereing events right before your eyes, resulting in a massive shift in your perspective on life.

I keep thinking that I go through them every 6 mos or so but then i realized that i havent had one in about 3 years. I know this cause one's finnaly happend.

the only problem that its hard to intergrate people from your past....or is this a challenge that only i have?

fuck, anyways thats about all for the seriousness........

My *shift realization* is that my purpouse is to start up a competitive square dancing leuge with the surrey parks and recreation board......, and take spelling and grammar lessons.

Epiphany

There's a word for that, it's become popular recently. You had an epiphany.

Extracted from the dictionary:
"Epiphany" refers to the sudden intuitive realization or comprehension of the essence or meaning of something. The word's secular usage may owe some of its popularity to James Joyce, who expounded on its meaning in the fragment Stephen Hero and the novel Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man (1916).

Originally epiphany referred to a Christian feast intended to celebrate the 'shining forth' or revelation of God to mankind in human form.

An unpleasant epiphany is a "rude awakening".

Speaking of popular words, paradigm was added to a list of words banned from the Queen's English in 1994, along with bling-bling and meterosexual. Anyway, change is a good thing, keeps life fresh. Just go with it (though personally I'd forget the square-dancing league ;)).

I'll give five dollars (no I wont) to anyone who can tell me who coined the word 'paradigm' and in what book.
