Your opinion.?
How do you get over someone.?
I know there are a variety of ways. And time is the best cure. But in your opinion, if it's taking a great legnth of time. What should you do.? You think your ready to move on, but you still have that other person in your mind. Should you move on? Or should you not.? Perhaps if you are to move on, you might end up rebounding. But there is still that possibility that it will help you move on.? |

in my opinion.. if u try rebounding.. it'll make u think of the other person..
let urself hurt.. let it out.. like jus let it out... eventually u'll get over it.. its not an over night thing.. jus go w/ urself.. let urself hurt, b4 u can heal, u gotta hurt. |

Best therapy EVER! No really, the only thing that works for me is space & time. It's so bloody simple, but a lot of people have trouble getting over someone because they can't even give themselves space from the person at all. Space is the ONLY thing that has worked for me. |

I'm in the same situation.
I've tried everything, almost, nothing worked. :014: Being told to move on, cause perhaps seeing some one else will help me get over him.. wtf?! Don't see how that will work. Oi. Lemme know what works, 0_o. |

Rebound sucks and I suggest you do not try this option.
Getting over someone is, IMO, a lot of mind over emotion. Realize that you do not need that certain person to exist. That this person will not change the future of your life if they are not there. As wonderful as life is when they are with you, you must remember that you cannot make your world around one person. That is just setting yourself up for heartache. I do understand that this won't make a lot of sense to many of you at this point in time but I hope it becomes clear as time passes. I have come to realize what is important in my life and who I do need in my life. Once you too come to this realization then getting over small obstacles like this is much easier. I was just tossed a "48-hour change of heart" mindbender and it was a bitter pill to swallow but now it is just past history. I can't drop everything that is going on to ponder "Why?" or "What if I could have..." I rather spend that precious time playing with my baby nephew. |

Gusto, But what if it were to end up being a rebounding situation.? Then all you do is hurt the other person. Flings on the other hand, I don't think would help.
MC Hammered, I think you just might be right.! Just it may still take quite some time. |

Rebound is cool if both parties are on the same page about it being just humps or whatever.
But if you're actually on the rebound and trying out an actual relationship, that doesn't always work if you're not over the other person. Issues and baggage=not hot. |
