I didn't think it was possible for a friend to break your heart to the point where you would be happier if you never saw them again.

I found out it is possible, the hard way unfortunately.
Or maybe its just me being overly sensitive... But being stabbed in the back and having the proverbial knife twisted kills as much as the phone calls where she pretends that everything is okay; oblivious to the fact that I would ever find anything out.

I've had my holiday tragedy.

been there, done that....

just remember, time heals everything.... and your true friends will be there till the day you die no matter what the situation. the best thing for friends to do is talk, dont bitch.... find both sides of the story so you understand eachother... me and my best friend have been through some tuff shit, but in the end, we're still there, even if one of us has harsh fucked up. and sumtimes they might not even realise how much they fucked up, thats the whole point of comunication. if that person isnt willing to listen FUCK 'EM!

friends can mean the world sometimes, it's most definitely possible to have your heart broken by one, i've had a few in the past who royally fucked me over, and i refuse to speak to again. sorry to hear that.

im sorry to hear that a supposed friend would fuck you around. it has happened to me too, and all i can say is move on. the more you think about how much it hurts or how much you'd love to wring this girls neck, the less likely you are to feel any better. all the while you hold that with you, it just weighs you down. so forget about the cunt and move on.

That sucks... BUT, at least you found out now and know the type of person she is. You know now that she isn't a "real friend" anyway so it's best to move on with that knowledge. On the positive side, you did walk away more aware of what could happen in certain situations. You seem to be a strong person that will move on to bigger and better things and one who will just re-focus her energy on the other "real friends" and family you have around you.
