just dont make a big deal out of it.... the headache's and anything...... and as far as progress goes dont make big deals of being clean for 1 week, 1 month 1 year etc etc...... just keep close with people who are clean and u trust... and keep your mind free of it as best as possible.....
i've never done most of this stuff, but i know it is hard to get off it because 1 of my friends did ALOTA stuff in grade 10 and 11..... and all he did was no rehab just get with clean people, he said the hardest part was forgetting about it, and taking the headache's, tired/grumpy moods, and how long he had been clean for with a grain of salt..... he always would say he was tired because he only slept for 8 hours..... and he was grumpy because he failed a test........ and headache's because he was hung over....... he just re-directed the syptoms to other things/causes. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!! hopefully we'll here a happy ending. |

i have an 19 almost 20 yr old friend whos been doing jib for 5 years.. on and off... she went off when she got pregnant, but still did coke and crack.... a couple months after the baby was born, she left her, in the craddle, with all the windows and doors wide open, in her parents house...... good thing is the parents now have full custody....though, the baby will never be the same, neither will her mother

I did Jib for about 3 years, on and off at times.
The thing leads from one bad thi ng to anoyher. I must admit I got alot of crazy memories but for the most part there all negative. To me stopping wasn't as hard as I thought but thats prob cause i relapsed a couple of times *meaniung going back to doing jib*. Everytime i stopped and started stopping was easier. I never say I quit because quitting means you will never do it again period. but y ea i'm always up for someething i have a good deal of knowledge on, shoot me a messege on msn peace |

You may have to drop some friends but trust me in the end its usually for the better, because those friends usually will do something to you that you will always regret, and always think why di dn't I drop them.
I've seen a best friend becoming a street kid who steals car parts and sells them off. I 've seen people get off jib and i've seen people change their lifestyles cause of it. Alot of it is the mental surroundings and how you cope with shit. Try and keep a calm state of mind well trying to come down off this shit. |

everyones different...for me it was cutting out friends definetly...the only person who will always look out for you,is yourself...its good to have friends who will support you but you can't let them be your reason for quitting..you gotta do it all for yourself and you have to actually want it...if not your gonna relapse..cuz that happens a lot if your not 100% sure that you don't want the dirtyness in your life anymore..
alcohol and weed actually helped me a lot cuz jibs pretty hard to quit cold turkey..just substitute every line for a joint and eventually you'll realize you dont miss the gross feeling anymore... |

Being with ppl who love you and support you is very important, and not hangin out with the people who did it with you is also important, when my brother quit he was in jail so we never got to see him, but when my sister quit she was with us and we were there for her whenever she needed us. |
