In yet another aspect, Erik and I are simmilar. I'm bad for initiating the contact (i'm really fuckin' shy), but once things are going, I tend to take control unless my partner is is really forceful.

I usually take the role of the dominant one off the bat. I looove grabbing/squeezing/restraining and pounding.

BUT if she wants to take control I have absolutely no objection. Switching it up always makes things more fun.
