whaaattt.. but it's the best thing EVER it makes life so much easier, funner, freer, happier, more consistent and stable, and you get a chance to do and commit to all the things you normally wouldn't have time to do if your sinificant other is nagging at you for not having enough "time" for each other. Best of all, you get to be utterly selfish and do things for yourself and think only ABOUT yourself. Ah, freedom. :) Some may argue that you CAN do all those things with the right person, but I honestly think for myself that I'm at my best and happiest when I'm on my own. |

at times i really miss being single, but then i go home too aaron and he gives me a big hug and belly bump, tells me how much he loves me, then we cuddle in bed and fall asleep in each others arms with puppy at our feet and it's like allllll riiight giggidy giggidy giggidy
it's shitty, but you can't always get what you want but if you try sometimes you get what you need hoooooowah. fuck am i still drunk? nah forskeet bout it! being single is under rated, but being in a relatinoship with your perfect match is a wonderful thing! |

Yes there is more freedom with being single, but I find that this freedom is often just another form of loneliness. |

^^^ great point pbreak.
and...eventually, it becomes habit forming. You stay single so long, your not sure you can handle being in a relationship again. You begin to forget what its like to have to think about someone else or have those strange things called "feelings". I dunno....its good...its bad...it just is. |

But it's one thing I dont miss. I rather like goin out and chillin with my friends. I hate when my friends turn into hermits and I never see them, unless they break up. I'm glad their happy n all.. but it kinda suck that they all of a sudden fall off the face of the earth cause of some relationship. |

Keep your head up straight
Look relationships are fun, yet for people like us who are 19 years of age, they shouldnt be taken seriously beyond a certain point, i've had bad relationships, like chick flick drama ones for eg.:
I was going out with this girl and on our 8th month, our relationship begins to deteriorate, a month later i find out that she's been cheatin on me with my best friend whom ive known for more than 12 years at the time, i lost trust in people, myself and everything. I was pretty much destroyed and it took me quite a few months to get over it. My view on life kinda changed a little too. Things happen, try to make the best of what you have, you will find the right person, all i can give you is this, Stay confident, never lose hope, be optimistic yet keep reality in focus, enjoy life as much as you can. A big hug and my congrats for you getting over it, being single can be hell of alotta fun and like miss myra said, enjoy your freedom while it lasts :) |

I was single for 19 years. They both have good points. But I'd pick being in a good healthy, key word "healthy" relationship over being single. There are very few things I can't do because of my bf.
However, if I had to pick between being single and just being w/ someone because I didn't like being alone I'd pick SINGLE SINGLE! I will never get those people who always need to be w/ someone. |
