Be careful. Research the company and the employee who performs the procedure on you. My friend had her whole legs done, and the lady was new and ended up burning her skin very badly. I don’t think this happens often….but it’s something you should be aware of.

oh god i know about the leg burning thing.. one of my old co workers (east indian) so dark hair and skin... had her legs crazy burned on her last time :( and now she has black dots all up her legs. Its cause she used to high a setting for her skin type and the light reacted with the melanin in her skin and her hair (burning both) I had a trial patch done today and so far so good hehe.. but i'll definatly do more research (unitl i can actualy afford to get it done)
thx girls |

i wanna get it done on my face!!
to never have to get razor burn would be a good thng! and on topof that, the price of razors/shaving cream/and everything, in the end, it would save $$ , as well as patients, and frustration! i am seriously considering, its only a couple grande, isnt it? |

i considered that but its not thorough enuf hehe
and for those inquiring minds.... i say this: dont worry about it cause you aint never gonna see it anyways!!!!! :D :338: its not 2 grand either.. its like 100-200 per session depending on what ur geting done.. and its optimum to have really light skin and darker hair. You'd need anywhere between 3 - 7 sessions depending on ur bio stats:) |

my friends mom has a lazer hair removal clinic.
she went to the USA to get a new type of lazer and somehow when she tried to come back across the border she was pegged as a terrorist. they thought the lazer was some form of weapon, and now whenever she tries to cross the border she's flagged as an arms dealer. |

I've had only a couple of sessions, but so far it's awesome and totally worth it.
I'd have to say... it's improved an aspect or two of my life... ;) oh, and the burning thing... that is a possible side effect of laser hair removal, but it is pretty rare and apparently it usually happens to people who tan prior to undergoing the treatment (they will tell you that you're not supposed to do this). they're gonna ask you questions prior to doing the treatments and as long as you're answer honestly, they should be able to find the proper settings for you. plus, they should do a test patch which give you a pretty good idea of how you'll react to the laser. |

a warning to all considering laser: it hurts. the first time I got it done as at some cheap place from a lady who I don't think really knew what she was doing. it felt like a hot iron being placed on my skin. when I went to a better company, they iced it and would take breaks in between zaps. it felt more like a rubber band being slapped on my skin. |
