imfuckingpatients.

This looking for a job thing.... Is driving me up the fuckin wall.

I can't handle it anymore. I've come to the point to where, I think, I'm not even gonna get a job now.

And I'm tired of waiting to hear from companies, because I basically already know... I'm not gonna hear from them.

I think it's fair enough to say, that I've come to the realization, that you have to know someone to get somewhere.

Wow. I suck.

[Yes, I've gone through job sites, placement agencies, news papers, etc... STILL nothing]

I lived in Vancouver a total of 6 years and I'd say it is a very tough place to get a job or switch to a new one.

I have no idea how the Vancouver economy works. So many people are driving around in nice cars and you can see other signs of money. Yet there don't seem to be any significant industries (except grow-ops).

Well, there are also a lot of people who come into the country already wealthy and just invest in real estate or do whatever they do. I can think of a few family relations (not relatives) who are of that category.

Have you tried looking around downtown? Or is that too long of a commute?

its not as hard as you'de think...
a few days after handing in a resume(which should be a really good one) call the companies and ask if they've had time to look at yours..that shows them that your really interested...most times they'll give you a call back after that..and at the interview you just really have to sell yourself...dress really nice,be polite and talk a bunch of bullshit..it works like a charm..
