(sorry, im using you as an example)

I was talking to gilkayo the other night and she said everyone thought she was hardcore.


now.. what does being hardcore mean?

I have a guess what it could mean.. but thats a very very very very bitter guess :P

On to the subject, i think being hardcore is jsut another saying for being absessive? Or somthing liek that? But i dont realy care, as long as ppl are who they realy are and are more into empressing themselfs then others... something like that?

I'd say it's someone who's so addicted or obsessed with one thing that they do it ALL the time... they eat, breathe, and sleep whatever they're obsessed with. That's what I would consider hardcore I guess.

Now whether or not being called "hardcore" is a GOOD thing, that's still in question *smirk*. Cuz if you ask me, someone who's that addicted to one thing really needs to get a life and diversify their interests a bit.

merrr... When ever I use the word, I usually use it when I'm being sarcastic or something like that.... or especialy when some one thinks their tough shit and can take on the world.. then I just use it as a cut down.. hahahaha

but I've been told people think I'm hardcore cause I've been partying for so long and what not.. I don't take it seriously...

Like why would you wanna be labeled anyways?

Hardcore is in the eye of every beholder. We all make are own definition if your using it as a trend err something...

but in the dictionary it says:

Hard-core: 1: extremely resistant to solution or improvement 2: being the most determined or dedicated members of a specified group

in my experience "hardcore" is usualy satirical or mocking. sum1 who is "hardcore" is usually a wannabe "bad ass"



but when used 2 deskribe a situation or an act is quite complimentary

like "i dunno man, that 60 foot gap jump is a bit 2 hardcore for me"

My definition of hardcore is..
Hardcore: Someone who has a lot of knowledge of an interest.. thing's that most don't know..
