Has anyone read this?
I am reading it right now and It is a really good book...things that they talk about in it have happened to me and now I look back and realize I was putting to much effort into it..It basically tells you never sit around and wait for a guy because if they wanted to call you/be with you they would be..and never waste your time asking a guy out..if they wanted to go out with you they would. It also talks about cheating and a lot of other guy problems..Its really sad how many girls waste there time and energy on guys who just aren't that into them...after reading this I am going to try really hard not to be one of those girls..sometimes its hard though..

My gf lent me this book and I still have yet to give it back to her (SORRY JEN!)

My optimism for this book was deflated as soon as I read it. I skimmed through the chapters and then basically put it down. It wasn't all it was hyped up to be, but some of the "Cases" i could relate to.. However, I could mostly relate to and I have often witnessed the reverse ie: "She's just not that into you".

i think the male-female dynamic is a lot more complicated the book makes it out to be. there are a myriad of reasons why a person (male or female) won't pursue someone he/she likes. however, i do agree that people justify being treated like crap, or even just as inconsequential, way too easily in order to save their fragile egos. get your self worth from who you are and what you have (/will) accomplish, not from who like-likes you. *rolls eyes*

Just because he hasn't worked up the nerve to ask you out doesn't mean he isn't interested. Why is everything they guy's responsibility? If you want something, go get it.

From the description you gave in the first post, the book sounds like a giant waste of money. Relationships work TWO ways... back and forth. It's not a one way road.

yeah, i do agree with the not waiting around part, and dont be desperate and wait your time, but at the same time thers nothing wrong with going for what you want. i guess it all depends on the way your actions come across..

Girls that just wait around for guys... and think guys should be the only ones that ask 'em out.. instead of the girls asking. are stupid. IMO.

If I'm interested in a guy, I'm just gonna tell him, it's just easier that way.

Casue some guys do get nervous.. and can't ask out girls.
It's like ppl that don't like confrontation.. n shit.

ugh.......... why wait.. jsut do it and get it over with and move on with it[whateverway it turns out]. makes life hell lot easier.

^^^exactly! relationships are two way even before they start going out. i personally hate the girls who believe they are all high and mighty just because they are girls and expect the guy to do/pay for EVERYTHING. i'm a pretty shy guy when it comes to starting realtionships and frankly i do get a little scared to ask the girl out. stupid and childish, i know but that's just they type of guy i am.

ugh I wish people would stop talking about this book. you shouldn't need a book to tell you that if he never calls or tell's you he hates you, then uh oh, he's just not that into you. it's not hard. I've been hearing about this stupid thing for what feels like forever. all these girls going "omg that is so true!" no kidding? maybe it's time to graduate to "the rules"
