i really believe that it has to do with birth control - with extra horomones pumping through our veins it jsut seems natural that we would have more sexual drive.
and its not unusual. its just finally getting out there - the secret of women actually wanting to get laid. the whole sexual revolution, women being more impowered, more willing to express there sexuality. its still just becoming more morally acceptable for ladies to openly express masturbation when its been a common converstaion with guys for like ever. it also helps that shows like sex in the city and the l word and desperate housewives - shows women fully into there sexuality accepting all their urges and desires.
personally i thank the 60's and 70's for their bra burning-naked dancing- sexual speaking women. they started it out for us all.

I say it has to do with getting older. Our sexual peaks don't line up, if you recall Sex Ed.

I used to always have more sexual drive than the girls I've had sex with.... as the years have progressed though, I find that line equalizing, mainly because it seems I've past my sexual peak.... When I get into a bed with a female, it's not really 100% the forefront of my thoughts anymore (more like 75% these days) I have a feeling that tradition will continue until I get into my 30s, when females are supposed to sexually peak.

So if you're noticing more often these days that women have more drive than men, it's probably because you're just getting older.
