Shopping when Upset..
I dunno about you guys- but yeah I shop when I'm down- It's odd how that actually cheers me up-
I just finished cleaning out my closet and well.. it's back to being filled (not that I really got rid of stuff in the first place :Kimmie: ) But yeah.. I suppose this is a pointless thread but yeah.... Shopping is Great!

I DO EXACTLY THE SAME THING! (which is unfrickinbelievable cuz i'm a guy)
i think i posted about this a while ago... it is honestly the best way, maybe the only way to cheer myself up... especially when i buy something like a video game or a dvd or something that'll keep my mind occupied for a while... new toys... mmmm... it's funny cuz when i go into the mall, i'm all agro. but when i walk out of a store with a bag in my hand, TOTAL MOOD SWING. i'm wavin' that bag all over the place like a homo. i'm not even a materialistic person.... but iono... maybe it's the store clerks that are really cheering me up, they're the only people in the world that will talk to strange ol' bob... *sob*

I know exactly how you feel. I mean, petty things that upset me seems to be relieved by buying petty material objects.
mind you, extreme spending usually tends to get me more depressed. but buying a new shirt or something might make me feel better. --Joanne :P

oh god..when i'm pissed off...and i have money..and i shop...heh..its the best...i don't know why..just puts a smile on my face..altho i try not to do that cuz yeah..u never realize how much u spend.. :D:

its like a giant circle for me im upset so i go buy stuff.. impulse buyin.. i never need it i usually land up not bein able to return it so im poor and upset and because im upset ill go shopping... *L* :Star: PS no wonder i see you at the mall jen!!

I never noticed I had this problem until a few months ago. Yes, I shop when I'm not happy. That is a bad thing. Credit Card bills will go up. :( Man, my friend has to buy something when she goes to the mall, she feels unaccomplished if nothing is purchased, now that is what I call a major issue.

material possessions dont make me happy, i dont have the kinda cash to buy things to make my problems go away.
ps. your problems dont go away when you get a new pair of pants or whatnot.
