Sick Grandparents

my poppa is in the hospital for an operation and my nana got really sick and now she is in there too. Its so sad. I was visiting with them all day, running back and forth between rooms. Finally the nurses put them in a room together and they were both so happy they were crying and couldn't stop saying I love you. The nurse was like "Are you sure you want to be in the same room?" and my pops was like "I've been married to her for 55 years, theres nothing I want more". It was such a sad circumstance but so beautiful. aww.. I hope they both get better soon.

when my grandpa got sick (kidney failure) a couple months later my grndma got breast cancer...they both beat it at first and lived a good 2 3 years longer then any doctor expected...anyway...my grandmas cancer came back and after months of palitive care she finally passed away...a couple months later, without my grandma there to take care of him my grandpa passed away in a nursing home in coq. It was sad at first but in a way it seemed like they were supposed to go together like that, they had been married for 52 years and niether could imagine life without the other
