I've never been able to understand how people can act like they like somebody that they don't. What's the point of that? I'm not talking about being polite to somebody who you don't mesh well with, that's to be expected. But when you seriously do not like somebody, spend time talking ill of them when they aren't around and then turn around and make plans with them and go on as friends, why would somebody do that? ive never understood this and ive watched it all my life, it frustrates the hell out of me.
Why do people feel a need to impress somebody that they don't even like or who is of low character anyway. If you have no respect for someone why go on as if you do? if you don't like someone, be polite, but don't pretend to be their friend. to me if you are talking shit about someone and then hanging out with them, maybe you are right for each other. on the other hand my weakness has always been that when i don't like somebody it's unintentionally aparent. i wish we were all somewhere in between but we all have our faults.

All our troubles aside...

I wouldn't let it bother me if I were you. You can only be responsible for your own actions. In time, the person your friend is talking shit about will figure it out... It always gets back to the other person somehow.

I know what you're friend(s) feels like though... I used to care about being friends with someone I lost respect for but now I just don't give care any more. Maybe they are being nice and pretending with that person for another's sake? Thats why I was until I realized that they too didn't care anymore.

Hope you don't have to deal with people like that for long Shanon. :)

I know alot of people like that.

If I dont like someone - I try my hardest to work it out. if it doesnt *which is hasnt before) I cut them out. not rudely or anything... just... dont talk about them.

i have some people in my life like that...It bugs me.

whats worse.. is when people will whatever bad talk that person they dont like.. but would never say that stuff to the persons face.. I hate that.

If I do not like someone, I act like I do not even know them. There is no point to dwell on things or make the person feel bad. I hate when people do that to me. Fuck, don't people have anything better to do then be assholes.

whyyyyyyyyyyy?????? i can't even get started on this, it frustrates me so much! sometimes, for a lot of my friends, theres particular people that are actually just easier to deal with if you fake being nice to them. still drives me nuts that they bitch and complain and shit talk and then turn around and smile and have conversations with certain people. but some people are seriously fucked in the head and if they know you don't like them, they're a fuckin psycho nightmare!
that being said, i politely smile to people i don't like, maybe a hello if they initiate but for the most part its usually pretty aparent if i don't like you! but i never really waste that much energy on negetive thoughts anymore anyway. i wouldn't give someone the satisfaction of me spending the time to hate them! i just smile at them and feel bad they're so entwined in hating me!

people that do shit like that are spineless cowards.Now,if youre associating with people who do shit like that,it also reflects poorly on you.Do not compromise yourself to maintain a friendship with someone who polarizes your ethics and morals.

Once you rid yourself of people who are shit,you`ll stop hearing about bullshit and wont get frusterated by it,and will stop questioning it.

you know what is really harsh, when people hate on you for telling the truth because they can't handle it. You know the saying "you can't handle the truth" lol I am using cliches

If only more people were like you... Whenever I have a problem with someone I try to get in contact with them to sort it out. A lot of people like to hide and avoid confrontation even if they were the ones to start it! Then they act like nothing has happened the next time you see them in person :/

ohhh totally. I don't like to fight with people at all. I honestly HATE confrontation but if I have to do it I will. If something gets to me; not a whole lot does cuz most of it is immature; I will deal with it.
Communication is the key. Some people just won't talk about it though. I can see why as I am getting older. It is because they know deep down they are wrong or the sitch was silly and they are embarrased.

That is how I see it, I don't have time to be fake.
Out with the old; in with the new. Ditch the crappy friends and wait for the new and better ones, there are only BILLIONS of people out there :)
