A quote that stuck with me today.
Never leave that till tomorrow which you can do today.
Benjamin Franklin A simple rule to succeed in life, people dwell on yesturday too much, and what to do tomorrow instead of what can be done today. John Wooden said, “Tomorrow is, in large part, determined by what you do today. So make today a masterpiece. . . . Apply yourself each day to become a little better. By applying yourself to the task of becoming a little better each and every day over a period of time, you will become a lot better. Only then will you be able to approach being the best you can be.” I think I have had a revelation on my life and what needs to be accomplished. I've sat around playing and avoiding paying for the things I want. |

i think oscar wilde is the king of quotable sayings:
"Arguments are to be avoided; they are always vulgar and often convincing." "Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much." "Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months." "I am not young enough to know everything." "I think that God in creating Man somewhat overestimated his ability." there's also some good ones from mark twain: "A classic is something that everybody wants to have read and nobody wants to read." "Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please." and neoh, here is mark twain's response to your quote: "Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow." |
