Nat you have barly been at the Guess store... I dont think it's fair to claim the job is horrible already. I always hate the first few weeks/moth of a new job. you just not use to it.
However if AE has realized what a great worker you are... then maybe this is your chance to get ahead ;) Overall go with your gut feeling. I think I made that mistake this summer while picking jobs. I was greedy and took a chance... bad chance :( |

Sound like a really tough spot to be in Natty. How are the Guess people, do you feel you can workly closely with them in trust?
I'd consider going back if your heart is still THERE (AE) i'd hate to see you unhappy over money, your well-being is ALWAYS more important. Please CALL ME if you need to weight out pros and cons you know i'm here. But as Nev said best, you always make the right decissions. <3 |

Always go with what makes you happy, as most people have said in this thread. You gotta weigh what it worth more and what will keep you sane in the long run. You might be able to keep this up for a while, but sooner or later it's going to catch you and bite you in the ass. Good luck hun!

I totally disagree. Not saying that I'm committing myself to it for life, but there are plenty of excellent career opportunities in the field. I love my current job in retail management. Sure it's busy and a bit stressful at times and customers can be jerks, but it really suits my personality and I'm making better money than I ever have. I'd go mental from boredom if I had to sit behind a desk or something. And it's a great gateway into better positions, too. 'selling themselves short?' To be good at this takes a special kind of skill. |

Early mornings are slow, but the rest of the day is pretty steady. I do more volume there than I did at Off the Wall in Richmond Centre. |
