nanaimo city bus directions to Qualicum for Funkalicious!
catch the #1, #2 or #9 to woodgrove. from there you are going to catch the #90 to Parksville. you are going to get off at the last stop, Ravensong Pool. from there you are going to catch the #89 to Qualicum. get off at the last stop, Wembley Mall. however, the only thing i can suggest is paying $5 or so to catch the greyhound to get to the venue turn off (directions will be posted on the info line tomorrow!). thats about as far as i can help ya out to :)

Funkalicious Thank yous!
So I just made it back to nanaimo this morning, I ran home, showered, changed and booked it to work. Its been a pretty interesting weekend, thats for sure :) I want to thank everyone that came out and everyone that helped out. I hope you all had a great time. Most importantly, Thank you to Peel Enviroments. Thank you! You guys did an amazing job. Im honoured that Topher spun some records and closed the show. Thank you so much! Thank you soo much to the 4themusic crew. Thank you Neil (Monty), Waffelz, Alex and well, every member from 4 the music that showed up. You guys helped out so much, I appreciate everything you guys have done for me, and I wish there was more that I could do to express myself about how awesome you guys are. Thank you to all the DJs that played. I am so sorry that I didnt get to enjoy any set all night long. I was here and there and well, everywhere all night long. But thank you. now lets see some pics!! Since I didnt get to play all night long, I want to see pics of peeps having a great time :) I also want to thank our super wikkid awesome security team. I dont know what I would have done without you guys. Thank you! (also thank you for letting me have a little nap at 3am, I was exhausted and needed a rest). OMG. So Many thank yous so little space and Characters.
I got home on Tuesday, finally from the Weekend around 2:00pm. So time for THANK YOUs and Love First off I would like to thank my Best friend and Business Partner. JOLENE. Without you the party wouldn't have gone as well as it did. Thank You so much, I Love you. MUAH. Our Staff and FAMILY - OMG you guys. Even though there wasn't much for you to do till the end. You all were very eagar to help with ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING, without your time and effort a lot of the party wouldn’t have gone as well. Getting the word out, promoting your asses off for us to ensure that everyone knew that it was going on to the point of not wanting to hear the word “FUNKALICIOUS” again. The CLEAN UP. THANK YOU A BILLION TIMES.. Cause it is clean they will never know we were there and we can go back un-detected. You guys working the door. Keeping them Ravers in line. Security – BILL, TANYA, LURCH, ALEX and MR. WHERES YOUR PASS?? You did an awesome job, especially at the door from what I heard. Unfortunaly I was MIA on a Pick Up mission in Nanaimo when the SHIAD hit the fan. Thank you for Doing Concession for us too. Thanks a million. That was a big help. I hope you enjoyed your time there. Can’t wait to see you again. Jared – Yet another Set I missed. I am sure you didn’t dissapoint. You always do a great job. What was your last track that you played?? I hope your experience was great. Thank you for making the Trip up here. I know it is a long drive, and the way back had to be that much longet I am sure. Monty, Wafflez - Thanks for being there to close the show. I just want to take a minute to Thank the Partiers – ALL OF YOU.. thank you so much for making the journey to our little Rave 350+ people, dedicated, took the time to make it to the stores, buy your tickets and make the long or short trip. Sorry if the directions were a little shotty. I know for next time to make better markers and more detailed directions. Thank you for staying behind and cleaning our MESS.
