Bryan's 100+ tracks have been featured in magazines such as Entertainment Weekly, Mixmag and URB, Showtime's "Queer as Folk", as well as in mix cd's by top dj's such as DJ Dan, Joey Beltram, Donald Glaude, Richard "Humpty" Vission, Hatiras and more. He has also appeared on prime time radio broadcasts by Fergie on London's BBC Radio One and also New York's WKU. Bryan has done work for the industry's top labels such as Ultra, Subliminal, Fine Tune, IHR, and more. Remixing a wide variety of top artists, anywhere from Hertz to Ferry Corsten, has kept Bryan very busy when not traveling abroad. Nearly every track Bryan's produced has reached #1 on the DanceRecords.com charts (Americas #1 and largest record store) as well as numerous #1's on Juno (The UK's Largest). Bryan had around 20 number one hits in 2005/6 alone. Being licensed to the "This is Techno" CD, which included tracks by Moby, Crystal Method, and Underworld, was a crowning moment for his "Music is Movin" track. While "The Smackdown", Bryan's radio show, was the most listened to radio show on the worldwide 1groove.com. It was broadcast alongside such other notables as Defected Records and Chris Leibing. In addition, this peak time dj has launched a global tour promoting his new mixed artist album "Motive", slated to drop in March 2007. His high-energy shows have packed dance floors across Europe and Asia and one of his favorite experiences from the tour was headlining at one of Europe's largest music festivals, Dance Valley in Amsterdam. Bryan stated: "It was a wild festival that lasted for two days and I've never seen anything like the way these people party!" His travels appear to continue as he has been booked to return to Dance Valley for 2007 to rock the house stage again. Furthermore, being one of a select few dj's invited to play in China, while standing on The Great Wall on the Asian leg of his tour made him realize how lucky he was to have such a great job. With the first half of his tour shows spreading from the UK to Poland, Japan to Colombia, Bryan hits the U.S. briefly on the spring leg of his global tour before heading off to the European summer festivals in 2007. Lastly, Bryan Cox's new night in NYC "Weapon New York" or "WNY" promises to be one of the hottest showcases for the funky and bangin' side of house. He is being quickly dubbed the American pioneer of the new face of house music, and is trying to bring a refreshing new element to dance music. Mat The Alien Funk / Turntablism / Breakbeat - Whistler / England myspace.com/matthealien Let’s clear something up. Technically Mat is not an alien. He was born near Manchester and moved to Canada in the mid 90’s to follow his snowboarding addiction But that’s where things get weird. On the flight over, the airplane was overtaken by what appeared to be a massive electrical storm over the Atlantic and was out of contact for thirty minutes and when it reappeared it was in essentially the same spot as before-.” Alien contact? I don’t know, have you ever heard Mat spin records? He had been dj’ing since 1998 and developed his style while working in his family’s record store in Bury, England (opened by his dad at age 4, but it wasn’t until after he arrived in Canada that his turntable abilities suddenly jumped to new heights. Heights later described by Knowledge Magazine as, “Awe inspiring. Some next level shit.” “Who knows what happened on the plane?” he says. “I think If I can reproduce that alien sound , I should be able control minds and communicate through sound to people from all over the world.” Mat has toured across the globe , pioneering 4-turntable club nights in Whistler and Vancouver, and with crates as deep as a black hole combined with mixing and scratching skills he is considered among the best by anyone who sees him , Mat was chosen to represent Canada and rock the party at Canada House during the 2006 Winter Olympics. He has produced many mix c.d.’s, released his debut self produced c.d. Downtime and been busy making music for T.V. show’s and scratching on video games including N.B.A. street Homecourt for ea sports. Mix c.d. highlights are the 2002 C1RCA Presents Knowledge Magazine Mix CD, which showcased his ability to blend several styles of music seamlessly. Over 50,000 copies of the CD were distributed worldwide, to critical and popular acclaim. The follow up was C1RCA Presents C1pher 2004 which also featured DJ Dopey, the 2003 World DMC Champion and made big waves throughout the global d.j. community.Next up was a collaboration c.d. with u.k. beatboxer Killa Kela and next in line is a mix with the scribble jam 3 time champion Scratch Bastid. Mat has also changed the way people play records with “Mats Mats,” slipmats for 45’s allowing Dj’s to scratch and cue 45 rpm records the same as they would a 12-inch, there is also Boca 45 (dynamo productions ) run of Matsmats At shows mats , pristine mixing of many genres and scratching techniques really does sound like it came from another world. Did Mat really get abducted by aliens that night,We’ll never know but one thing is certain- Mat the Alien is capable of some out of this world shit and when Mat does find “that mind-control sound” the world will become a safer place. DJ Dom G House / Electro / Disco House - Calgary MySpace.com - DJ Dom G - Calgary, CA - House / Electro / Disco House - www.myspace.com/djdomenicg Bad Boy Bill says "Dom G is spreading the funkiest house vibes north of the border!" DJ Domenic G hails from Canada and is one of the happiest djs behind the decks. Starting off playing various instruments like guitar and the trumpet Domenic has always loved all forms of music. He made the transition to the dj world when he was 15 years old. I remember hearing the house kick and the hat; it was the beat that got me. Ever since then I have been hooked. Not only a Dj Domenic started Fehrenheit Promotions years ago in order to expose Calgary to different sounds of the worlds DJs. His events draw crowds of up to 5000 party goers and feature the worlds largest name djs. Domenic also holds long time residencies which show case his various styles of house music. Known for his banging party tunes Domenic also enjoys playing deep house as well. Domenic is currently hosting Horizon Fridays at The Warehouse which showcases his party style and Blue Saturdays at the cherry lounge shows allows Domenic to play the deeper side of house music. All of his residencies are extremely successful. Domenic enjoys playing to crowds of any size; his largest gig was recently where he performed in front of a crowd of 15000. Every dj wants to play the large shows but there is something special about playing in a more intimate environment, I think its the connection between the dj & the crowd. We have a vision of what we want an IshGirl to look like. Part of this vision is that an IshGirl defines her own style. The roots can come from common styles (Goth, Punk, etc.) however, an IshGirl integrates those styles into something of her own. She can shop at expensive or cheap stores – all that matters is that it’s styleIsh! An IshGirl takes ideas from all around her and creates something unique that expresses who she is. She will create, modify and flaunt her style with confidence, wherever she may be. The style is fluid, changing day to day, mood to mood. What IshGirls aims to capture are those unique girls who go the extra mile with their style, no matter what the occasion. We all know IshGirls. We know you are thinking of one now. They stick out from the crowd. They are the fashion bellwethers that fashion mogules travel all around the world to study and mimic for next years lines. What we want to do is to capture this, record it, and give a tribute to the World's IshGirls. Psylence Dancers - Calgary Paul Who? aka The PRGM After years as an audiophile and slave to the dj circuit Paul has moved into the realm of motion pictures, video, and weird science by creating his latest alter ego - The PRGM. A venture into the technerdist movement of functional art and image wizardry will see Paul perform a visual set at many of this summer's festival stops including Motion Notion, Connect, and Shambhala. With an emphasis on live video make sure to stop by and get with The PRGM for some visual morphing, eyeball teasing, and general progammery. The PRGM After 10 years behind the decks in Australia, Europe, and Canada it was time to step back and get behind the lens. This natural progression has led Paul Who? to his latest endeavor - The PRGM; a pseudo immersed in technerdism, image wizardry, and functional art. Using an arsenal of wired and wireless cameras, video mixers, laptops, mirror ball motors, LED lighting, mirrored surfaces, still cameras, video clips, still images, props, and other gadgetry, expect a display of unique weirdness.
