Pacific Dubstep Presents PROPPA Thursday November 6th, 2008@ Hush

whats up this is a bass transmission from the burnside basement in victoria.



PDS are throwing our first night with the dubsteps and bass music selection. what a good way to nice it up

is to have those brothers Daega and the Bias to rock the hush proppa.

Brothers Ben and Joshua Searles are the DAEGA Sound System. Representing for Vancouver's world

class Lighta! sound crew, South Londons DPR Recordings and Texas based Formant Recordings. Live

PA and DJ duo they are pushing the deeper end of the dubstep sound. Described as "deep and heavy,

intricate and spacious" they are unlike any other producers making dub step at the moment. Their

productions are attracting international attention and getting play on some of the biggest radio shows in the

biz with support from Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC 1, Rob Booth from Electronic Explorations and Joe Nice's

Gourmet Beats.

From the headnodders in the back to the shaker's on the dancefloor. Bias has the gift of throwing down the right tune at the right time. Known over the years for rinsing the upfront drum and bass, has jumped in to the sound called DUBSTEP. Holding down mo fire on dubstep.fm along with three turntables at his arsenal get
ready for some rocksteady bass to make you move.


Starting off the night we have the PDS og's Rhythmicon and Gobe warming up the hush dancefloor. with a smorgasborg of Dubstep and DNB Grooves set to heat you up for the night to come.


Rhythmicon


Co-founder of Chainsaw Sound, Rhythmicon has been working tirelessly over the last several years to

contribute to the electronic music scene in the Pacific Northwest.
DJing since 2004, promoting since 2005, and producing since 2006, he is following his driving passion for

music; constantly developing his unique styles of smooth drum and bass and melodic dubstep.

Rhythmicon has rocked dance floors including the Victoria Event Centre, Sunset Room, renegade

parties, and ran "Vibe Wednesdays" at Hush Nightclub with DJ Lunatriks,. He's had the honor of

performing and having his dubs played on radio shows such as Sequential Soundbox with Aperture,

Shadow Jugglers with Socool & MP, Purple Drank, Suave Assassins, Spontaneous Combustion, and

destroyer.net with the VPSS crew.


Dj Gobe


Basslines to make your ribcage shake and drums to make the body quake: two elements that have

always found their way into a set from DJ GOBE . One of the Founding members of the upper island

Nomad Collective, DJ Gobe has played at almost every possible venue you can think of. From Clubs,

Parties, and Radio shows to Schools, Restaurants, and Art galleries. His music style is entrenched in the

broken beat style from Drum n' Bass to Dubstep and all the in betweens.

Radness.. too bad I have school at 8:30am the next morning. :(
