The Vicious Circle Recordings North American Tour featuring:  PAUL GLAZBY Vicious Circle Recordings | Tidy Trax - United Kingdom Paul began his career on the underground scene in Sheffield back in 1998. These days he is recognised more on an international level playing regularly at clubs such as Frantic (London), Sundissential (Birmingham), Tidy (London), Storm (Leicester), Insomniacz (Sheffield) and Sinergy (Manchester) along with his International gigs in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, Japan and Finland with his unmistakable brand of Hard House. Throughout the last 3 years Paul has risen through the rankings of the Hard House scene; with his distinctive and relentless style he has gained the attention and respect of DJ's like Andy Farley, Lisa Lashes, Tidy Boys and Anne Savage and the crowds from clubs across the globe. Throughout 2002, Paul has spent time developing his record label Vicious Circle Recordings. The label has subsequently positioned itself as one of the top Hard House labels and is set to gain even more ground in 2003. Having been responsible for original tracks such as 'Beautiful', 'Kick It' and 'Locked Up' Paul has positioned himself as one of the scene's leading producers. Paul has also stamped his authority as a remixer, having worked for labels like Tidy, Nukleuz, Kaktai, Honey Pot and Virgin's :VC: Recordings for whom he remixed the classic 'Dreams' which reached No. 30 in the national charts and received widespread play on Radio 1 and Kiss FM. Forthcoming original productions on Vicious Circle and remixes on Tripoli Trax and Tidy Trax should see Paul further his credibility as a producer. Paul also has recently set up another label - NineNineNine Recordings, where Paul will showcase his productions that aren't suitable for Vicious Circle, i.e. not Hard House, this will hopefully open him up to a wider audience. Paul Glazby has a fast and relentless style, add to that his technical ability and the way he can pull out the right tune at the right moment it's plain to see why he has built himself a formidable reputation; anyone who's heard him play will agree his sets are something to remember and anyone who hasn't - watch out! As Canadian pioneer for the NuNrg/HardHouse sound, Paul "Kultcha" has establishing a solid reputation for long, flowing mixes and his ability to read a crowd. From his humble beginnings as a rave fanatic dancing all night in 1991, to finally being able to afford decks in 1996, Kultcha has risen to become one of North America's leading NRG DJs. In Nov 1999 he won the prestigious "DJ Of The Month" award from Tribe Magazine, based out of Toronto. He has toured across North America playing events large and small, making stops in such places as: Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, and Guelph, and extensively in his home province of British Columbia in Canada and in the states of Oregon, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Texas, and Idaho in the USA. Internationally he has played twice in London, England (including peaktime slots at Brixon Accademy and the Fridge) and will soon be playing in Lima, Peru as well as Australia. Open minded, he likes to play to any type of crowd, in clubs, warehouses, or the outdoors. Kultcha runs his own record label - "Wasa-B Records" which is Pressed and Distributed out of the UK but run from Vancouver, Canada. Internationally acclaimed Artists such as OD404, Base Graffiti, Eufex, Karim, Rubec, Dj Kristian, and Banga Matt all have releases scheduled. Currently in studio, he has a number of tracks scheduled for release coming in 2002. His joint projects include "Wicked" co-produced with NRG legend Karim (Wasa-B 005) and "U Asked 4 It" with Kaktai and Bangingtunes.com owner Dj Kristian (Wasa-B 010).
