Haven't been to a polish hall party in years.

Can't wait to "bruck out" to some Ak....

I was under the impression it was next to impossible to throw a party in edmonton.......has something changed or are the ticket sales for our party starved city good enough to pay for the venue/ licence/ dj's/emergency staff?

we actually threw a party in edmonton at polish hall in september called metropolis =D
Edmonton is goign to be hammered with parties for everyone to enjoy.
Ya dont have to make the trek all the way out in calgary anymore.

Weird , all the parties in edmonton seemed to stop because promoters were having trouble making money....and ravers were sick of the polish hall and acca centre. It was great to be in vancouver where there is a party almost every weekend. Im just curious as to what has changed in edmonton.....parties died because the city wanted them too...and people weren't supporting anymore.

i remember all the massives in alberta were all around edmonton.
such a shame it died. but the government of edmonton decided to put a ban on dance activities from i think it was 2 - 6 or somewhere along the lines of that.

the ravers of edmonton staged a rally at city hall back in 2001 and the city still decided to impose the law down. it was actually very sad

i remember that nexus party they threw at reds, forgot who headlined but damm it was fun bowling and raving at the same time. Edmonton use to have a thriving scene when did it die? Are there still all those afterhours or breakfast @tiffany's?I have to head out to red deer the week before might as well stay and make the trip better.
