WEST COAST DNB PROMOTERS DJS AND DNB HEADS CONVERGE ON VICTORIA FOR FIRST EVER WEST COAST DNB CONFERENCE

Whitebird Records & Lounge, British Columbia, Canada – On April 2nd, 2005 West Coast Promoters, DJ’S, and DnB Heads will converge on Victoria , BC for the first ever North West Drum n Bass conference. John Beaumier of Whitebird Records and Lounge has spearheaded the project as a dedication to the development and expansion of the North West drum and bass scene.

The conference will be the first Drum n Bass conference to be organized on the Pacific North West and organizers hope to further drum and bass across the northwest and to discover new towns, new venues and open new markets. The goal of the first conference is to raise money and implement the web presence of the North West drum n bass scene. This will allow west coast promoters to talk about shows, dj's to promote themselves and for heads to sign up for the monthly dnb press release. With the proper web hosting it will be easier for north west drum and bass dj's / mc's to upload images, demo's, bio's and contact/booking info.

The conference will commence on Saturday April 2nd at Whitebird Lounge 768 Yates Street, Victoria BC, Canada Reception at the Whitebird Lounge 7pm - 10 pm
After party at Jungle Nightclub @ the Plaza 10 pm till 2 am. Dj's bring your top ten.
Cover is $ 8 and all profits go towards funding the mission. If you are interested in attending please post at this link

We have rented Vans instead of busses, Seats are 35$ a person. pick up location (downtown) TBA.
There is also going to be a puplic transit tour, for those ppl who dont want to pay for van seats. take the city bus to the ferry, and then get on another one after the ferry to take u into victoria. Times and meeting place TBA.
