New Music Please!

Well, new to me at least. I have found a few stellar sounds through you folks on fnk, so i thought i would try again. I am growing tired of what i have been listening to as of lately. Some music i have been enjoying, if it helps:

Also, you may like The Blow. Paper Television is a fantastic listen-through album.

The Raconteurs (featuring Jack White of the White Stripes, and Brendan Benson) are great. Broken Boy Soldier is also a great album start to finish.

On the "Indie" side of things, I'm really enjoying The Fratellis new album "Costello Music" right now.

I just booked a show with Bang Lime which are a side project for Metric and they've got some really fresh sounds too.

Mute Math too are pretty good.

If you don't have any of their other ones, start with _Twin Cinema_ and work from there.

I think you might have been one of the few people who actually already liked them though. Don't remember.

I haven't heard anything of their new album. Maybe they figured out that dressing sharply isn't tantamount to being a good band.

Honestly I'm unfairly biased because the lead singer's voice drives me nuts.

Noooo I think they're exceptionally sexy, I saw them perform at the commodore and the way they strutted on stage wearing suits with cigarettes in hand was to die for.

They are amazing live and I got to meet them afterwards and they were so kind and modest - probably one of my favorite bands ever.
Listen to the new album though (released tomorrow) I really think this one is going to sway the masses.

Mojo have I already mentioned Mates of State in other posts? _Bring it Back_ is one of my favorite albums of the decade so far.

Why is it uneducated if I downloaded what was supposed to be their seminal breakout album and it was so boring, pompous and overblown I couldn't bear to listen to it again?
