Eeeeeeyyeeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
What an awesome surprise!
Got in from the pub, friday night, after a REALLY tough week, and rode up the lift looking at the week's mail. <=D Got my tix for next season's Gold Series of the Vancouver Symphony!!!!!!!!!! I'm ALL about BIG (((SOUND)))! [I've got seats in the "Sweet-Spot" in the building. You don't need to "see" the symphony, ya wanna HEAR it..] No matter the genre. (I think I post something about this, every year....)The best part is that I love the dichotomy of music! The symphony is usually spitting out by 11pm, which is the "perfect" time to head to another gig (Live: reggae, punk, ska, rawk/ dj:club/party/"gathering"....) I always book 2 seats, and I always like to take a different gal, each time, but, I've also brought along some good mates who've appreciated the musical experience! I mean, fer cryssake! Some members of the VSO were up in Pemberton, backing Dopey! (Which, I gotta say, kicked wicked ass!!!!!!!!!!!) OH! And the _venue_..... Yes! Frosty (has problems choosing dates...) |

Centre Balcony.
Just back from the chandelier. Best sound in the theatre. (Shooting there, a number of times, I've roamed around doing the "clapping"-thing. Ran into the sound dept. and an in-house tech, who all confirmed that we were standing in the sweet-spot. I get the same seats, each year. Frosty (Lower Centre Balcony, row 9, seats 139 and 140) |
