I love Funk music are there any other fans out there?? I really like God Made Me Funk's new single Lay It with Julie Black it's awesome! There new cd comes out today...can't wait to hear the rest of it! What are all the funk fans listening to? anything else i should be checking out???

Seconded on 5AF. Saw them open for Herbaliser a few years back and it was bumping.

Also saw Neighbour and Greenskeepers over the weekend, and they were wicked funky tunes, a bit on the Disco sides of things.

ya to this day that herbaliser show was probably one of the best events i've been too and i don't say that often! they put on a really good show at shambhala last year too, as far as vancouver funk goes these guys are where it's at.

For DJ's - Wood, Soo, Hubbz, Evo, Vinyl Ritchie, U-Tern, Nina Mendoza all hold the funk scene down well.

Precise and I on occasion too. ;-)
