My thoughts EXACTLY, it's nice hearing his old stuff, but I don't like looking at him... he just creeps me out and basically you're right when you say that he's dead... all that lives on his his music and music videos of him and his sweet moves when he actually looked normal

michael jackson sacrificed a substantial amount of the things in his life. probably the biggest thing he's lost has been his public dignity. Which is really sad, when you think about it. I mean, you've got a fellow who's the butt of every single child molestation joke in the world these days, his face has been heavily distorted by plastic surgery because of his hair catching on fire a couple of times during his shows... He'd be the kind of person to regret all the fame and fortune he's got except for the fact that he's never known anything else.

what's worse is how regardless of whether or not he's guilty of all the child molestation stuff it doesn't matter... in the public eye he's guilty, regardless of the fact that he's never been convicted (Go "innocent until proven guilty"). he does have weird habits, but South Park kinda covered what's going on there: Basically you have someone who has NEVER been given a chance to grow up.

People get disgusted by who Michael Jackson is and what he represents, but honestly, he's a direct product of modern fame.

^^^I was watching a special on him lastnite and the world went from loving him to absolutley hating him, it was sad, it is sad. I remember getting so excited when a good video was coming on, to bad he couldnt just stay normal. I guess I just like to remember the old michael.

hehe.. Interesting way of wording it, but I totally agree. It's a shame we focus so much on the downfalls of celebrities.
Although, I must admit that I am guilty of occassionaly reading celeb gossip mags- but only while getting my hair done or in a waiting room. heh
