(2007.06.09) WHITE w/Sean Tyas+++ @ Maritime Labour Centre
Twisted Productions is proud to present an "ALL WHITE DRESS CODE PARTY..."
WHEN: Saturday, June 9th, 2007 -- 10PM till 7AM -- Line privillages and prizes given to those dressed all in white! WHERE: The Maritime Labour Centre in Vancouver ROOM ONE: SEAN TYAS - Switzerland / New York : S E A N T Y A S : www.myspace.com/seantyas Sean Tyas brings to the dancefloor a mix of melodic harmony and driving groove that is sure to be just as effective on the legs as it is on the heart. By the age of twenty six, he has already remixed artists such as Christina Aguilera, Pink, Moby, Daniel Bedingfield, Christina Milian, and PPK. During this time he got his start into professional DJing with clubs in NYC such as Shelter and Exit. He later moved to Europe and produced "Mirella" (Afterglow Recordings), followed up by a remix of “Duderstadt - Muhanjala“, which has seen almost every playlist of any trance DJ this year, including Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk. His remix of Beam - "On your Mind" proved to be another HUGE club smash. Caned CONSTANTLY by the likes of Paul van Dyk, John O'Callaghan, & Armin van Buuren, this remix essentially locked Sean in as one of 2006's more endeared talents in the genre. The hype on his up-coming Discover single "Lift", has just been even more amplified by Sean's winning of the Sander van Doorn - Punk'd Remix Competition, beating out over 250 other remixes. Due out mid-summer, Lift promises to be Sean's biggest release to-date. Coming from the energetic trance side of things has given Sean a slight edge when choosing emotional tracks. He has decided to not go in the "Hey I'm cool too"*** direction of everyone and their sister playing emotionless electrohouse, and now has reached even deeper into the real "dance your fucking ass off" tech-trance. MARK SHERRY a.k.a. Public Domain - Mark Sherry's Website : www.myspace.com/marksherryoutburst With over 10 years behind the decks and the added fact that he is one half of Public Domain, Scottish tech-trance star Mark Sherry is a man on fire!! The new Public Domain single “I Feel Love” has had 10 weeks of support on the worlds biggest radio station Radio 1 and has just been signed to EMI. This year alone, Mark has been asked into the studio by Matt Darey, BK and Nick Sentience to write some huge collaborations for Darey Products and Riot. He has remixed the classic “BBE – Seven Days and One Week”, the brand new Dumonde single “Elektrisch” and also the new David Forbes release “Super Imposed” for Silicon. He has appeared in all of the main DJ publications on a monthly basis with glowing reviews and features of his productions and DJ sets and has also enjoyed some heavy-weight support from all of the main trance jocks – everyone from Marco V, Eddie Halliwell, Sander van Doorn, Scot Project, Judge Jules, Anne Savage, Johan Gielen and Fred Baker have hammered all of his productions, to name but a few!! Mark has played at some of the worlds biggest clubs and parties in Ibiza, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Holland, Russia, Turkey, Dubai, Germany (including the Berlin Love Parade 3 years running) and also in the UK at Homelands, Gatecrasher, Slinky, Knowwhere, Inside Out, Goodgreef pres Native, Colours, Sundissential and Wildchild – when it comes to Mark Sherry you certainly have an extremely experienced international DJ on your hands! Here's a quick current Sean Tyas profile in case you need it:
Sean Tyas had a stellar 2006, remixing, reworking, and re-editing every damn thing under the sun. "I felt a lot of the old classics sounded like crap in my sets, so I took it upon myself to bring them into the year 2006 by adding a harder kick." Such tracks that were given the Tyas Treatment included 'Children (Sean Tyas Rework)(Tyas' Extra Edit)', and 'Airwave (Tyas Remix)(Sean's Harder Kick Edit)', as well as his immensely popular 'Lift (Sean Tyas Late-2006 Extra-Ummph Edit)(Re-Edit)'. |
