Their backgrounds are as diverse as you can imagine yet this allows them to unleash a formidable and unique style! Their sound can be described as breaks/house & electro meets Miami bass/UK garage/Rock & Hiphop. They have already captured interest from dance heavyweights notably The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim and The Chemical Brothers and are receiving radio support as far as Australia and the USA. 2005 saw the release of the duo’s critically acclaimed first album, “Breaks, Beats and Blondes”. And since then the boys have been busy remixing tracks for the likes of Ol Dirty Bastard, The Prodigy & Armand Van Heldon. With a 3 month US & AUSTRALIA tour; together with the release of album No. 2 and mix CD “DEEKLINE & WIZARD LIVE” 2006 Is already looking to be a big year for the booty loving duo!! DEEKLINE aka Nick Annand, has since well and truly earned his reputation in the dance scene having worked with legends like Arthur Baker, and chart successes namely “Don’t smoke (The Reefa) – UK Number 9 Deekline is also known for shaking up the whole nu-skool scene and twisting out the fattest of bass lines wherever he is playing including the legendary club night Breakbeat Connection. He’s also known to be a player when it comes down to Miami WMC ;) The Wizard, AKA Greg Fleming, is a London born musician/producer and engineer whose youth belies his formidable expertise. Since working in recording studios form a very early age with the likes of New Order the Chemical Brothers & Sex Pistols greg’s talents were soon spotted and his clients were quick to pick up on his creative input. Remarkably he has since put his own imprints on projects/albums for the likes of The Rolling Stones, Damien Marley, X-Press 2, Britney Spears, The Prodigy, Placebo, Fatboy Slim and Usher. And the list goes on. Wizard has worked with the forefront of artists from the “UK Dance scene. The Wizard is surely set to influence a wide range of genres (is anything out of this man’s grasp?!) including the now massive UK Grime sound and the most ground breaking of movements in house. Together these boys have come up with something so very fresh and remarkable. Stay tuned for the sound of Deekline & Wizard!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check out the websites listed above to listen to some D&K music. DJ ASSAULT, US – Jefferson Ave. - Jefferson Ave - Home of DJ Assault / www.myspace.com/dj_assault Born Craig De Shan Adams and raised in Detroit, Craig came to dance music like many of his Motown brethren, via the radio. Detroit radio jocks made lasting impressions on the young artist. Mixing records since 1982, Craig has been indoctrinating people with his own take on Detroit dance music, which is very much an amalgam of his radio predecessors. The introduction of scratching and rapping to non-Hip Hop genres of music, this style is something that could only have come from Detroit. Along the way, DJ Assault was born. Anything is game when Assault DJs, be it house, techno, jungle, R & B or whatever -- as long as booties are bouncing. He has rocked parties around the world, including sets in Germany, Holland, France, Spain, UK, Japan, Australia, throughout North America and Canada. Each time it's the same: When he steps up to the decks and unleashes that high-speed booty-shake, the audience has only one option -- tear the club up. Now let's breakdown this Craig Diamonds guy. They are 2 different personalities Assault is everything you know so far. But, Craig Diamonds is the next phase. Craig which is my real name is saying I can be myself. Diamonds is not reflective of jewelry but is saying I shine. So when you put the name Craig Diamonds all together it means, I can be myself and still shine DJ ASSAULT A.K.A. CRAIG DIAMONDS "The STREET NARRATOR" is hard at work with his new label and a place to finally call home "JEFFERSON AVE". On this label, the first full length mix CD is available entitled "Sumthin' 2 Shake Yo' Azz 2". There is also a 12" release for this CD. Another 12" entitled "The Accelerated Funk E.P." is also available. Look for a lot more vinyl releases in the future containing some classic DJ ASSAULT re-mixes of earlier recordings. Assault is also the winner of the "Detroit Music Outstanding Hip Hop DJ Award" for both 2001 and 2002. Now, all that can be done is to wait and watch Accelerated Funk take over the world one party at a time. Craig Diamonds is also the man behind a whole new set of beats -- the man responsible for some of the most infectious hooks this side of the Mississippi. Producing records since 1995 Assault has been making some of the most talked about booty-bass tracks in existence. Songs like "Ass 'n Titties" which was used in a April 2004 episode of the Dave Chappelle Show on Comedy Central, "Shake It, Work It" aired in a HP ipod commercial during the August 2004 VMA's (Video Music Awards)on MTV and has continued to play on national television every since. "Yo Relatives" has also turned into a genre classic as well, "Like I said when I play a gig, I'll play anything -- from bass to techno to jungle to hip-hop to house, "But as a producer, I call the music I make Accelerated Funk, like what you'll hear when you listen to a new DJ Assault mixed album, on Jefferson Ave." In 12' news the Jefferson Ave. catalog is up to 14 releases with no plans on slowing down anytime soon. By the end of 2004 every DJ Assault track made from 1995 to 2000 will be available plus all kinds of new stuff strictly for the vinyl junkies. Also, be on the look out for a bunch of new photo's and free unreleased MP3's from the man himself and CEO of Jefferson Ave. LLC. DJ Assault A.K.A. Craig Diamonds Currently, a spanking new album containing all new material is finished and awaiting release within the next 3-4 months. The only features on this album are 2 female vocalist, other than that Assault and his alter ego Craig "The Diamond Man" completely hold it down. The only comment Assault had when asked about his new album was, "This will be the first time the public get a real close up of the man Craig Diamonds." The title of this new album is being kept under raps for now. Don't be... Twisted is known for always bringing top quality production and sound to its events. This will be no different. We've set aside a large chunk of money to make sure decor, production and sound is done right.
Also - The Craze and Krafty event will be at this venue on July 7th... that will allow us to work out any kinks in time for this show. :) |

Shark Club has some potential for sure, I wouldn't be too worried about it. Almost every time there's a club crawl there's a stop at Shark Club, and it's pretty solid, actually. There is a big open area for a dance floor, and they do move out a bunch of tables to give even more dancing area.
But as I was saying, on the club crawls, they always bring a DJ in for Shark Club, and it's solid. Also, as Kraig said, Twisted will pimp shit out. |
