Due to unfortunate and unforseen circumstances, Freaknight 11 will not be held at Pier 30. However, we are working on securing another option. Freaknight WILL happen. It is not cancelled. Please be patient, and information will be released very shortly.

Two days prior to Freaknight 11, the venue at which the event was scheduled canceled the agreement. We immediately sought an alternative venue that would accommodate the large number of people Freaknight is known to draw. We believed we had a viable venue and it was our intent to provide our loyal followers with the outstanding event they have come to expect from USC. Arrangements could not be finalized with the subsequent venue, leaving us with the difficult decision to cancel the Freaknight. We are deeply disappointed that it has come to this, as we enjoy promoting Freaknight as much as you enjoy participating in it.

Almost all of the artists scheduled to perform at Freaknight are in town, and will be performing at other venues. both promoter and venue have the right to cancel the event up to 24 hours before the show, with a financial penalty. usc has a pretty good reputation, and i doubt they would announce anything without confirmation. sometimes bad shit happens to good promoters.

I think they USC stated that the "venue canceled the agreement" and I do believe somewhere it's stipulated in any agreement that if alloted time is given, one can cancel a contract.

Still sucks.

US Customs was nothing, I never have problems with them. Canada Customs totally hates me though.

I was across the border already before getting a call that it was cancelled. So, back to Canada we went. We got asked a million questions before having the car searched for like 10 minutes. I don't blame them though. Saying you're going across for the night, and then coming back 2 hours later... I sure hope that raises some red flags.
