The massive “Music is the Drug”, released in 2002, would be the start of his meteoric rise to stardom. Determined not to be pigeon-holed as a Hard Dance DJ, Lee created his own digital label, “Digital Remedy”. Now a year old, the label has been a phenomenal success and has played host to a dozen new productions ranging from Progressive Trance to the grittier, filthy sounds of Tech Trance. While tracks like “Kinetic” and “Terra Ferma” have been ripping up dance floors for the past year, Lee has not sat still. With a half dozen more projects lined-up, including remixes for Technikal and the recently released “Sticks & Stoned” with BK and “Zippa” with Guyver, it's no wonder that Vancouver loves the sounds of Lee Haslam. We're talking of course about tracks like “Man on the Moon”, “Serious Sound”, “Differences, “The Missing Channel”, and his reinterpretation of “Carte Blanche” with Lee Haslam. All have achieved cult-status in the annals of Hard Dance history and were key elements in making Tidy accessible for a new generation of partiers around the world. Not about to rest on his laurels, Guy has continued to be forward thinking by reinventing himself with a new imprint of his own. Audiophile Digital has allowed Guy to showcase his other musical tastes with projects ranging from Electro to Trance. Far be it for him to forget his roots, 2007 also saw the release of his debut artist album on Tidy which included a dozen brand new productions tailored for a harder generation. Whether you're into the euphoric Trance sound of “Here & Now”, feeling the grungier Hard Trance sound of “Heaven & Hell” or craving the old school Hard House romp “Jazz Hands”, Guy is always a crowd pleaser, through and through.
