Hey all,
OK, so once a year, we put on a very special event, and it is that time of the year again! What is this special event and why is it so special? Well, it is our Intimate NYE 2008 event, and it is very special because our very first party that we threw was on NYE and it is how all of this started. A bunch of friends getting together, organizing a party for our friends, and everyone being together on NYE. Over the last 8 years, new friends have joined us and the party has gotten much larger, but the original vibe and intention is still the same: to have an Intimate evening with good people and great music! This year, we are holding our NYE event at The Lotus Hotel once again, taking over all 3 clubs (Lotus, Lick and Honey). The DJ line up is as follows: Lotus Sound Lounge (House music all night long) Asad Rizvi (London, UK) • Jon Lee (Seattle) + Ingrid Hakanson (vocals) Woodhead vs Andy Clockwork • Vinnie the Squid vs. Ricco (Slow DJs) • Thom Banks (Victoria) Honey Lounge (AnythingTheF@!#Goes) Wood & Soo • OJ vs. Hubbz • Betti Forde & De Lux • G-Rock vs. Ollie Plé Lick Nightclub (Electro / Techno) Team Trainwreck [Abasi + Dr. Jones + Glyn] • Mark Bayrock • Dr Teeth & The Electric Mayhem [Crown Vic + Dave Dirk] Some of the highlights are: synchronized 3-room countdown with balloon drop, confetti cannon & Champagne toast at Midnight; complimentary party favours & appetizers. Visuals are being done by Blunt Factory, and lighting by Pharos Lighting, so you know this event is going to look top notch! Tickets are $40 (first 100), $50 until Dec. 24 and $55 after (more at the door). This is a steal considering you get access to 3 clubs with all varieties of music to satisfy even the pickiest friend in your group! In the days before we did our own NYE parties, I remember every year, me and my friends always had the problem of where to go, cause we always had people in the group who could not agree on the music preference for the night. With this party, you got THREE rooms with TWENTY TWO DJs to choose from, and there is EVERY kinda of music from house to electro to techno, 80s to 90s, hip hop to breaks and then some! Seriously, I don't think there is any genres feeling left out here. And the DJs are all top notch (not speaking for myself of course :-) :-) Come be a part of the mayhem... while you still can. I'm hurtin' for cash from Xmas expenses and tuition. On the other hand, this'll be my last time for any kind of partying to the excess. (edit: er, for a number of months, I meant)

I bought tickets for this with paypal and haven't got them in the mail yet. Can anyone help me get in contact with the promoter? I don't feel like paying another 300 bucks for six of us to get in at the door.
