WHAT?! i'm honestly really confused by this comment! what specifically do you think is so dreadful about this event?! it's not a rave. there's gunna be no drugs. there's gunna be no 1/2 naked 14 yr old skanks. to me, it seems like it's gunna be a relaxing, but still really wicked, friendly 19+ get together-type of event @ the chilled out waldorf hotel, where you can hear some great tracks played out by some great locals & what not for a decent price while getting your drink &/or dance on. now, enlighten me... :S

anyway. i'm thinkin' about this. :D mychal ferreira, hirshee, & miss marz have always had pretty damn decent sets, i've found. & i just checked out dj czr's tracks on myspace, & even though it's not what i normally listen to, who the hell cares? 'cause it's makin' me wanna bust a MOOOVE. so, why the hell should i not go? :)

Raves generally don't happen at clubs.

Vancouver doesn't really have a rave scene anymore. Just a few annual massives (Apex, Soundwave, etc.) and clubs. The afterhours scene is pretty bumping though, and is where most of the "oldschool ravers" have ended up.

Why is it that everybody thinks that nobody does drugs at the club? Why does everybody forget that alcohol is a worse drug than 90% of the alternatives out there?

Well that's the thing. We might have a few complainers that would like to see KISS continue to be at Riverside or it to be moved to maritime like all the other events. (I don't have a quarter million to move it to the PNE)

However for the most part, the regulars who have been to all my parties and made them the success that they were by providing the right vibe and atmosphere have let me know that they'd rather not pay $80 a ticket for Riverside. Times have changed and I'm adapting with the change.

Waldorf is great because it's multi roomed, large capacity and isn't a Granville club where KISS wouldn't make sense to be in! So where as there are a few people who don't like this idea most people have given an awesome response! It looks like we're going to see the whole crew there haha

Looks like I am going now due to the new line up in the 3rd room. Also Babu I am down to see and being able to drink at Kiss is cool. I always enjoy the waldorf.
Also there may be a b-day celebration for a close gal we all know. We will see!
